Rescue · Rehabilitate · Rehome
Every dog deserves a second chapter.
We take in rescue dogs and problem dogs across Finland, rebuild their trust with professional rehabilitation, and match them with homes that truly fit. For the ones who can’t be rehomed, our sanctuary keeps them safe — for life.

What we do
Three ways we catch a dog before they fall.
From an urgent surrender call to a warm bed in the sanctuary — every part of our work is run by trainers, not a call centre.
01
Rehoming & adoption
We accept rescue dogs and dogs whose behaviour has put them at risk of losing their home. Every dog is assessed, rehabilitated and carefully matched — and we stay in touch after they leave. If it doesn’t work out, a Haukoti dog always has a way back.

02
Rehabilitation & training
Our trainers work with fear, reactivity and broken trust every single day. No quick fixes — patient, professional work that gives a dog a real second chance. For dogs under rehoming threat, the programme is completely free.

03
Sanctuary & medical care
Seniors and dogs who can’t be rehomed live out their days at our sanctuary — full veterinary care, soft beds, physiotherapy for old joints, and people who love them right to the end.

Looking for their person.
The kennels are quiet right now — add your first dog under Dashboard → Dogs and it appears here.

The process
How a dog finds a new home.
Whether you’re surrendering a dog or adopting one, the path is the same — careful, honest and unhurried.
1
Reach out
Fill in the rehoming form — for a dog you need to give up, or one you’d like to adopt. We answer within two days, always.
2
Meet & assess
A trainer meets the dog. We map behaviour, triggers and medical needs, and figure out what kind of home would actually work.
3
Rehabilitate
A tailored training plan at our centre. Step by step, at the dog’s pace — some need weeks, some need months.
Free for dogs under rehoming threat
4
Home & follow-up
Careful matching, a trial period, and check-ins for as long as it takes. Rehoming only counts when it sticks.

The sanctuary
For the ones who stay.
Some dogs are too old, too scarred, or simply too unique to rehome. They aren’t failures — they’re residents. Our sanctuary gives them a permanent home with full medical care.
Sponsoring a resident is the most personal way to help: you get photos, updates and the quiet joy of knowing exactly whose food bowl you filled.
Sponsor a resident — monthly
€10 a month covers Sylvi’s medication and soft bedding for a month.
Thank you! This is a demo — in production you would now be redirected to our payment provider.
Chip in
No donation is small. It’s just food in a bowl.
We’re funded entirely by private donations, collections, product sales and sponsorships — no big backers, no shortcuts.
€25 feeds one rescue dog for a whole week.
Demo checkout — in production this connects to a payment provider with our official fundraising permit.

The team didn’t just rehome us a dog — they prepared us. Six months later Onni still sleeps like he’s owned the couch forever.

They answered the phone on a Sunday and just said ”bring her in”. Paju has been part of our family for two years now.

We sponsor Sylvi from Tampere. The monthly photo updates are the best message I get all month.
